PERMISSION TO CROSS POST
CAPONE--- SCARED LITTLE GUY WITH SAD STORY! ---I would like to this boy out of here asap. His stray hold is over 12/6.
Capone’s mother was hit by a car. He guarded the body for 3 days. Some animal lovers trapped him in a raccoon trap and brought him into MAC. He was marked as feral/unsocialized. I sat with him this morning. He probably hasn’t had much human contact, but he never bit, growled or snapped when I handled him. He’s just scared and has no idea what is going on. When I have scared puppies like this, the best thing I can do for them is to mix with an outgoing puppy and start the rescue search. He has been mixed with Ditty (mentioned above). They are doing great together. He’s only about 3.5 mos old and weighs around 15 lbs. He has already opened up a bit with Ditty’s help and it’s only been an hour. He will need a little TLC handling to get him to trust people, but it’s totally doable. He’s a cutie. He’s had a DHPP, Bordetella, flea treatment and deworming. UPDATE: DITTY WAS RESCUED. CAPONE LOST HIS FRIEND! CAN YOU HELP?

Wilkie was picked up as a stray at a local school. Her stray hold is up on 12/6. She is about 5.5-6 mos old. She’s a very gentle girl and just rolls over for a belly rub. There is not a mean bone in this girl’s body, but she is very scared and in need of some TLC. Her general body condition is poor. Her skin is a little flaky from poor nutrition. She has a spot on his ear that is a little flaky/scabby. It looks like bite wounds agitated by flies. Our vet will take a look at her to make sure it is nothing contagious. This girl is not very big. She only weighs about 25 lbs. She needs to gain some weight. She needs you! Can you help?
